Making the most of our contributions

Our mission

The Securian Financial Foundation is at the core of our financial commitment to community building. Its mission is to empower families in our communities to achieve secure tomorrows by investing in programs that promote financial stability, support youth and education and build vibrant communities.

Applying for funding

We review grant applications three times a year and consider requests based on how well they fit into the below funding categories. Grant applications must be received online through CyberGrants by February 1, June 1 or October 1.

Please contact CommunityRelations@securian.com to be included in an informational Zoom session before each grant cycle. This will be your opportunity to ask questions and learn more about priorities.
